The Growth of Estância In Leander

Some restaurants survive. Others build something people keep coming back to for years. Estância Brazilian Steakhouse falls into the second category, and this year makes the case even louder.
Estância has spent years building its reputation from a single dining room in Austin's Arboretum neighborhood, where fire-grilled meats, an expansive salad bar, and tableside gaucho service turned first-time visitors into regulars. That reputation has grown beyond the original location, with the restaurant expanding its presence in Central Texas and earning recognition as one of the top three steakhouses in Austin for 2025. Today, Estância has built a following across Austin and Leander, with diners returning for the same combination of Brazilian tradition, quality cuts, and tableside service
This past January, that momentum turned into expansion. Estância opened its second Austin-area location in Leander, marking its entry into the northern suburbs with a ribbon-cutting alongside the Leander Chamber of Commerce. The new restaurant represents a serious investment in the region, built out across more than 13,000 square feet. It is not a satellite location coasting on the original's name. It is a full expression of the brand, built to host everything from a quiet weeknight dinner to a 250-guest celebration.
The showroom experience
Walk into either location, and the design does what a churrascaria's design is supposed to do: it slows you down. Warm lighting, an elegant but unfussy dining room, and a salad bar stocked with more than thirty fresh items set the stage before the first cut of meat ever reaches the table. From there, gauchos work the floor with skewers of picanha, filet mignon, fraldinha, lamb chops, and more, carving continuously until guests are ready to stop.
It is a format built on generosity rather than restraint, and it shows in how people talk about the experience afterward. Reviewers consistently point to the same details: attentive staff who remember regulars by name, a dessert presentation that turns cheesecake into a small spectacle, and a menu deep enough that no two visits feel identical.
Built for events
Estância's growth strategy leans heavily into group dining, and the numbers back that up. Between the Austin and Leander locations, the company now operates a full suite of private and semi-private event spaces, from an intimate twelve-guest room to combined spaces that can host well over a hundred people. The Leander location alone can accommodate gatherings up to 250 guests.
That flexibility has turned Estância into a go-to venue for more than birthday dinners. The restaurant regularly hosts curated experiences like its Wagner Family Wine Dinner, a seated four-course pairing event, alongside seasonal programming such as its Coastal Collection seafood series. These aren't one-off promotions. They're a signal that Estância is positioning itself as a destination for planned occasions, not just walk-in meals.
Estância's online presence tells the same growth story from a different angle. Across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, the brand keeps a steady stream of content flowing: behind-the-scenes looks at the churrasco, cocktail features, event announcements, and the kind of user-generated food content that no marketing budget can fully manufacture. Diners are doing a share of the storytelling themselves, posting mukbang-style reviews and grand-opening coverage that reads more like enthusiasm than obligation.
Facebook alone shows tens of thousands of people who have visited in person, a detail that speaks to just how deeply Estância has embedded itself into the local dining scene over time.
Where this leaves the business
Two locations, a 2026 expansion backed by real capital investment, consistently strong reviews, and a growing events business. Taken together, it's a straightforward growth story: a restaurant that earned its reputation one table at a time and is now scaling that reputation deliberately, market by market. If the Leander opening is any indication, Estância isn't finished growing yet.
